The Mom Behind the Map: Meet Kayla

Hi CLE fam! 👋 I’m Kayla. mama of two girls, lifelong Clevelander (our dog is even named Lofton because IYKYK), and an aspiring pro at juggling snacks, strollers, and my own sanity.

When I’m not chasing kids or rereading Sandra Boynton books, I work in nonprofit fundraising. I love audiobooks, baseball games, and discovering new corners of Cleveland because kids don’t sit still (and honestly, I’m not great at it either).

Before I was a mom, I was the aunt plotting fun outings for my nieces and the friend attempting to organize kid-friendly get-togethers. These days I’m still on the hunt for stroller-friendly trails, quick-service restaurants, and hidden gems that make everyday family life a little easier (and tastier - the chocolate chip cookies at Chez Michel may be my favorite find).
