Sensory-Friendly Saturday events offer adaptations to meet diverse sensory-processing needs every third Saturday of each month from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Guests on the autism spectrum, people experiencing dementia, and those of all ages who have intellectual or developmental disabilities are invited to participate in a calming museum experience with less stimulation in a section of the museum’s galleries before they open to the public—reducing crowds, noise, and distractions.

Guests can explore the galleries at their own pace, relax in the designated “calming corner,” and share this time and space with open-minded members of the community.

About 78 Pueblos y 1 Bandera

On Saturday, September 19, 2026, internationally recognized Puerto Rican muralist Héctor Collazo Hernández, founder of the 78 Pueblos y 1 Bandera movement, will travel to Cleveland to create a monumental Puerto Rican flag mural at CentroVilla25 in the heart of Clark-Fulton.

The mural will be created during a free community celebration that will bring together residents, families, artists, businesses, community organizations, and visitors for a day of culture, art, music, food, and community pride.

On Saturday, September 19, from 10-noon, Rx Kids will step up to the plate in Cleveland for a joyful Baby Parade at the historic League Park (6601 Lexington Ave). The event will celebrate Rx Kids' impact since launching in Flint in 2024 and mark the program's first national expansion, bringing direct financial support to Cleveland families during pregnancy and a baby's first months of life.

Baby parades have long been cherished community traditions, bringing families together to celebrate children and the promise they represent for the future. Families, community leaders, elected officials, and partners will gather for a morning of food, music, children's activities, and a parade around one of baseball's most storied fields.

The event is open to the public and invites families across Cleveland to join in celebrating our moms, babies, and families.

Tremont Arts and Cultural Festival celebrates the cultural and artistic diversity of Tremont and the greater Cleveland area, featuring fine art, sculpture, original jewelry, children’s activities and programs, food booths, musicians and performers.

The Tremont Arts & Cultural Festival celebrates its 27th season on Saturday, September 19th (12:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.) in Cleveland’s Lincoln Park. This regionally acclaimed festival is presented by Tremont West Development Corporation and Cleveland City Council members: Austin Davis (Cleveland, Ward 7) and Jasmin Santana (Cleveland, Ward 14). The festival celebrates the cultural and artistic diversity of Tremont and the greater Cleveland area, and supports the endeavors of its visual and performing artists.

Now in its 27th year, the 2026 Tremont Arts and Cultural Festival is comprised of five Festival Villages:

Children’s Village: hand-on arts, historical, and educational projects:

Community Village: area non-profit organizations presenting material about their mission and services, along with local, independent merchants and vendors;

Cultural Village: fair trade merchants, and non-profits reflecting the ethnic diversity of the neighborhood and region;

Artists’ Village: Applications for exhibiting visual artists are accepted online in 15 categories: 2D Mixed Media, 3D Mixed Media, Ceramics, Digital Art, Drawing, Fiber, Glass, Fine Jewelry, Leather, Metal (non-sculptural), Painting (Oil, Acrylic, & Watercolor), Photography & Digital Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture (Paper, Bronze, Clay, Metal, Stone) and Wood.

Food Court: A dynamic area featuring a variety of food sales by Tremont and Greater Cleveland restaurants, food trucks and booths offering an eclectic mix of delicious eats from local vendors.

Arts Renaissance Tremont ( 7:30pm at Pilgrim United Congregational Church (2952 W 14th St) is bringing together five world class and diverse jazz musicians for an experimental evening. Some of them have never met; none have them have ever performed together in public. They’re each writing a new piece for this event. These five pieces will be rehearsed and performed in front of a live audience for the first time. Five world premieres with a five jazz greats who’ve never worked together? Welcome to UnchARTed Territory! Artists include Addison Frei (piano), Todd Coolman (bass), TJ Reddick (drums), Omar Lateef (trumpet), Charles Pillow (saxophone/flute).

The Festival has free music and dance performances Saturday on the TACF Main Stage.

Sober, family-friendly clambake (with kid foods, too) live band, kids games, face painting, dunk tank, 50/50 raffle, chance auction raffle. Fundraiser for Stella Maris.

On Saturday, September 19, Cleveland Metroparks and the Ohio Division of Wildlife will host the second annual Sturgeon Fest at Rivergate Park, celebrating efforts to restore lake sturgeon to the Cuyahoga River. The free event runs from 1 to 4 p.m. at Rivergate Park, alongside Merwin’s Wharf in Cleveland. Guests can participate in educational activities, learn about the historic stocking of juvenile lake sturgeon, and assist with the release of sturgeon into the Cuyahoga River.

Celebrate the lingering days of summer with a free outdoor performance set against the stunning backdrop of Lake Erie and Cleveland's vibrant waterfront.

Arrive early and enjoy the lakeside setting at North Coast Yard – plus food trucks, venue bar, and concessions. The FREE performance includes a full program featuring Dance of the Toreadors from Don Quixote,  Picnic  set to Tchaikovsky’s Dances for Piano and Violin, and the evening culminates with excerpts from Swan Lake.

Guests are encouraged to make reservations and arrive early.

Limited seating will be available, but feel free to bring your own seats.

Presented in partnership with One Cleveland, a citywide civic pride campaign celebrating the people, neighborhoods, and institutions that connect our community, Ballet on the Lake is an opportunity to gather, celebrate, and experience the beauty of dance along Cleveland's lakefront.

Admission is free, but registration is encouraged. If you made a reservation for the original date, you must make a new reservation for the September 19 event.

Sensory Friendly Time is a special program for families with children with sensory processing disorders and other special needs. During these sessions, CMC provides exclusive access to the Museum for families who thrive in a less crowded and lower-stimulation environment.

This program aims to bring families together to learn through play in a space that supports the unique needs of their children. Guests are encouraged to bring adaptive equipment to support a comfortable visit. CMC has noise-reducing headphones and sensory support kits available at our front desk upon request. There are limited quantities, available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Families visiting during the morning sessions are welcome to stay after general admission opens at 9am. Pre-registration is not required!

Touch-a-Truck presented by CrossCountry Mortgage returns to Brookside Reservation on Sunday, September 20 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.!

Families can see and explore big machines and vehicles including bucket trucks, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, dump trucks, police cars and more. Kids can also enjoy a 40-ton sandbox and interact with costumed characters. 

For an additional fee, families can enjoy a unique ride around the event aboard Cleveland Metroparks trackless train. Cleveland Metroparks food truck and retail truck will be on-site.

Guests attending Touch-a-Truck also receive a $5 off discount on admission to Cleveland Metroparks Zoo the same day.

Treading or “Stomping” is an ancient Roman practice that continues in the Douro Valley of Portugal. This soft yet intense crushing action creates an unrivaled smoothness to the wine while allowing greater control over the crushing & releasing of tannins and color.

Enjoy food, fun and meeting others

Online registration stops on Saturday, September. 26 at 11:00 a.m. Registration at the door on the day of event changes to $33.

There are 2 sessions. The first session is Noon - 1:25 p.m. The second starts at 1:30 p.m. and ends at 3 p.m. No matter which session you are in, if you are arriving in the latter part of your session please arrive no later than 30 minutes before it ends.

Guidelines
Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy.
A signed waiver is required for all stompers. Read and sign liability waiver at entrance.
Youth under 19 years of age may stomp for free when accompanied by parent or guardian.
Stomping will be with clear plastic boots over your soft-soled shoes, socks, or bare feet.
Shoes should be easy to remove.
Consider adding baby oil to your feet and legs to reduce staining. Watch out though, this will make your feet more slippery so use caution.

Cleveland’s favorite food festival is back! Join us for the 2026 Cleveland Pickle Fest®, when Mall C in downtown Cleveland becomes the ultimate celebration of pickles, music, fun, and the BIG DILL Volunteers at the heart of it all.

This one-of-a-kind event features dozens of vendors, food trucks, pickle-eating contests for youth and adults, live bands, and our new Cleveland Pickle Fest 5K. Thousands of pickle lovers will gather for a full day of flavor, entertainment, and community spirit, all while raising funds to support the volunteers and programs of Greater Cleveland Volunteers.

Mark your calendars for the return of our Ohio City Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3rd, from 12 – 8 pm at Market Square Park for an afternoon packed with crisp brews, delicious local eats, fun family-friendly games, and live music!

We will have an awesome lineup of local brews on tap, food vendors serving local favorites and Bavarian eats, a Pretzel Toss, Steinholding Competitions, and live music from Die Unpronouncables to keep the energy going all afternoon long! Kids are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes and join us for a costume parade at noon! We'll have a costume contest as well, so come in your costumes for your chance to win a family membership to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Come celebrate Halloween with us in a fun, family-friendly environment while connecting with local resources and other families in the community. Registration is required.

Parking is available just a few steps from the Garfield Park Program Center. Restrooms are available on site, and the building and parking area are accessible by ramp. ADA-accessible trail loops are also available.

The Haunted Trails event is free and open to the public! There will be photo props, festive decorations, inflatables, food vendors, music, live dance performance and temporary tattoos! 

The Haunted Trails event is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! All are welcome to enjoy all the different activities (listed above) we have to offer at Coe Lake.

Tickets are only needed for the Spooky Trails activity which are reserved for families in the Berea City School District (Berea, Brook Park and Middleburg Heights).

**Tickets will be available at the Berea Recreation Center starting Sunday, Sept. 13 from 10 am - noon and then during regular Rec Center business hours.

The Haunted Trails is an activity in which families can walk through the trails and explore the spooky characters and effects. While we do not have an age limit, please understand that this attraction is meant to frighten and startle. Visual effects (fog, lasers, strobe lights, animatronics etc.) are used to maximize the scare experience and the frightening factor of the Haunted Trails focuses more on the “startle” rather than gore. Many visitors will scream with surprise or fear as they move throughout the trails. There are no characters that will touch you during your walk and there’s no need to worry about inappropriate decorations or gory special effects.

A lot of teens feel like they’re the only ones sitting at home bored, but the truth is, so many of your peers are looking for the exact same thing you are: genuine connection.

That’s exactly why we created the Find Your Thing Fair.

Think of it like a giant expo—but instead of stressful college recruiters, the room is packed with awesome clubs, hobby groups, and youth organizations from across Cleveland. Whether you’re into art, robotics, sports, volunteering, coding, or you honestly have no idea what you’re into yet, this is the place to figure it out.

The vibe is completely low-pressure. Sensory Friendly Time is a special program for families with children with sensory processing disorders and other special needs. During these sessions, CMC provides exclusive access to the Museum for families who thrive in a less crowded and lower-stimulation environment.

This program aims to bring families together to learn through play in a space that supports the unique needs of their children. Guests are encouraged to bring adaptive equipment to support a comfortable visit. CMC has noise-reducing headphones and sensory support kits available at our front desk upon request. There are limited quantities, available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Families visiting during the morning sessions are welcome to stay after general admission opens at 9am. Pre-registration is not required!

A preview to Halloween, the Harvest Festival offers a safe and fun environment for families to enjoy different activities that the whole family would enjoy. There will be costume characters, mini pumpkin patch, magic show, crafts, music, food vendors, inflatables, magic show, face painting and more!!

The Harvest Festival event is FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC! All are welcome to enjoy all the different activities (listed above) we have to offer at Coe Lake.

Tickets are only needed for the Trick-or-Treat & Haunted Trails activities which are reserved for families in the Berea City School District (Berea, Brook Park and Middleburg Heights).

**Tickets will be available at the Berea Recreation Center starting Sunday, Sept. 13 from 10 am - noon and then during regular Rec Center business hours.

Skeletonville is it less scary Halloween event for younger children. The children and adults are invited to come in costume. The price is $3/person and the children can trick-or-treat at all the houses and buildings. There will be fun, food and lots of photo opportunities.

The Thorn, a powerful and popular theatrical event, seen live by over one million people, will return this Fall 2026 with 23 performances throughout September and October. The Remember Balloons is a moving dance-theatre production based on the award-winning children’s book by Jessie Oliveros. Young James imagines that everyone carries their memories inside balloons, but when his grandfather begins losing his, James discovers that the stories Grandpa has shared can live on through him. Through movement, storytelling, and imaginative visuals, this intergenerational production offers families a warm and hopeful way to explore memory loss, aging, caregiving, and the power of shared stories.

Sensory-Friendly Saturday events offer adaptations to meet diverse sensory-processing needs every third Saturday of each month from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Guests on the autism spectrum, people experiencing dementia, and those of all ages who have intellectual or developmental disabilities are invited to participate in a calming museum experience with less stimulation in a section of the museum’s galleries before they open to the public—reducing crowds, noise, and distractions.

Guests can explore the galleries at their own pace, relax in the designated “calming corner,” and share this time and space with open-minded members of the community. 

Soar into hero mode with the Firefighting Plane workshop, sponsored by First Alert! Kids will build and decorate a rescue plane ready to take on imaginary missions. This project inspires bravery, creativity, and hands-on learning through high-flying fun.

Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's® is the world's largest fundraiser for Alzheimer's care, support and research. This inspiring event calls on participants of all ages and abilities to join the fight against the disease.

Sensory Friendly Movie programs are especially for people on the autism spectrum (and their families), or for anyone who prefers this type of movie watching environment.  Most movies take place in our fully accessible state-of-the-art Auditorium.  Seating begins 15 minutes before the start time.  Fidget objects will be available during the movie. Registration is requested; please register once for your group and include the total number of people in your group. You are welcome to bring lunches and snacks!

Calling all ghouls and goblins, princesses and superheroes—Crocker Park’s annual Tricks & Treats Halloween celebration is back and better than ever!  Join us on Saturday, October 24 from 12–3pm for an afternoon of free spooky fun, sweet treats, and family-friendly entertainment you won’t want to miss.

Our Tricks & Treats event is perfect for families looking to enjoy the Halloween spirit in a safe, walkable, and exciting outdoor setting. Kids are encouraged to dress in costume and bring their candy buckets for trick-or-treating throughout the property. Participating stores and vendors will have pumpkin decals in their windows—just follow the trail of pumpkins and collect goodies (while supplies last)!

In addition to trick-or-treating, there will be plenty of interactive activities to keep little ones entertained, including:

•  Colorful Chalk Zones where kids can unleash their creativity

•  A fan-favorite Pet Costume Contest

•  Music, festive vendors, and plenty of photo-worthy moments throughout the park

Whether you’re snapping pictures in your costume, picking up candy from your favorite shops, or just enjoying the fall vibes, Tricks & Treats is a perfect way to celebrate Halloween at Crocker Park.

Kids can trick-or-treat at participating stores both inside and outside the mall while enjoying plenty of treats and seasonal excitement. Visitors can also look forward to exciting games, engaging activities, and a special appearance by the Woodmere Police Department.
