Why We’re Here
Let’s face it, parenting is a full-time job. No one has time to scroll through 47 Facebook threads or argue with Google Maps about which park actually has bathrooms that aren’t porta potties.
Here’s what you can expect:
🎠 Sensory-friendly, accessible, and stroller-friendly spots because we want every child to play and explore.
📚 Free and low-cost activities alongside bigger adventures because memories don’t have to come with a price tag.
🧸 Resources for families in need, from free school supplies to safe spaces because life happens and it takes a village.
We’re here to make Cleveland feel easier, more connected, and way more fun for families. Basically: less stress, more belly laughs.
No Perfect Families Required
At The CLE Family Collective, every family is welcome: parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, foster and kinship caregivers, blended families, LGBTQ+ families, chosen families - whoever makes up your crew. The only things excluded here are hate and judgment.
Our Commitment to Every Family
Inclusivity isn’t just a value - it’s the heart of everything we do. The CLE Family Collective is for all families. We celebrate and support every way a family can look, feel, and grow - moms, dads, grandparents raising grandkids, foster and kinship parents, aunts and uncles on weekend duty, blended and chosen families, and anyone else loving and guiding kids through life.
We believe Cleveland should be easy to explore for everyone. We aim to feature events, parks, and businesses that are physically accessible, sensory-friendly, and inclusive of all abilities. We listen and learn as we grow, and we’ll update guides as new resources emerge.
No matter your race, culture, language, faith, gender identity, sexual orientation, or family structure, you belong here. Our content, partnerships, and imagery will reflect the diversity of Cleveland families.
Inclusion is never finished. We invite feedback and collaboration so that together we can keep improving - adding voices, highlighting gaps, and making Cleveland more connected, welcoming, and doable for everyone.
