In this interactive 1.5-hour workshop, teens will learn the art of songwriting from Bárbara Martínez, professional songwriter and performer. We’ll explore how to find inspiration, write meaningful lyrics, and craft melodies that stick—all in a fun, supportive environment. Students will experiment with rhythm, rhyme, and storytelling in English and Spanish. No prior music experience required—just bring your imagination, your voice, an optional instrument, and your ideas!

En este taller interactivo de 1.5 horas, lxs jóvenes aprenderán el arte de la composición con Bárbara Martínez, cantautora y artista profesional. Exploraremos cómo encontrar inspiración, escribir letras con significado y crear melodías que perduren, todo en un ambiente divertido y de apoyo. Lxs estudiantes experimentarán con ritmo, rima y narración en inglés y español. No se requiere experiencia musical previa—solo trae tu imaginación, tu voz, un instrumento opcional y tus ideas.
