Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15-October 15) is an annual celebration of the contributions and influence of Hispanic citizens and migrants to US achievements, culture, and history. The month celebrates Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, the Caribbean, and Central and South America, which currently make up the largest ethnic minority group in the United States (over 68 million people).

Join Literary Cleveland, JP "BARRiOBOY" Hernandez, and One Mic Open on Friday, October 3 from 6-8pm as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Las Voces del Barrio, a free open mic featuring poets BARRiOBOY, El Karnal De Cuba, MariSoul, and Yanni Lola, hosted by Eric Odum.

Las Voces del Barrio will take place at CentroVilla25 (3140 W 25th St, Cleveland OH 44109), Cleveland's top Latino market and food hall, easily reachable via major highway routes and public transportation.
