THE SEARCH BEGINS MARCH 30!

Entry form will be available beginning March 30.

Find 10 Gnomes during "Spring Break" Week (Mar. 30-Apr. 5) for a Chance to Win Prizes!

Gnomes are on the Roam in Medina! They've left their winter sheds and are roaming around Medina. You can spot them hanging out inside local shops or peeking out of the store windows! You can join in on the search and enter for a chance to win Prizes!

RULES:

  1. The hunt begins on March 30 at 11am and ends on April 5 at 5pm.

  2. Click on the link, enter your email address, name, and mailing address.

  3. Select "Location 1" on the dropdown list and go to that location.

  4. Find the Location 1 Gnome hiding in the store window or inside. Find the Gnome's name. 

  5. Select the "Location 1 Gnome Name" from the list. Lists are in alphabetical order.

  6. Repeat until you match 10 Locations with 10 Gnomes' names.

  7. Click SUBMIT! 

If your entry is correct, you will be entered into a random drawing on Monday, April 6 2026 to receive select prizes from participating locations. You will be notified by email if your name is drawn.

As the oldest maple festival in the United States, the Geauga County Maple Festival commemorates the production of pure maple syrup in Geauga County and Northeast Ohio. The festival is held annually during the last full weekend of April.

We invite you to join us for four days of engaging activities, delectable food, and a celebration of all things maple.

Cleveland Kurentovanje’s Main Festival and Parade is free and open to the public.
Tickets are not required nor sold.

GENERAL TIMELINE:

Kurent Dash 5k runners can begin check-in and registration in the Main Hall beginning at 9AM. The race will begin promptly at 10AM.

The doors to the Slovenian National Home will open at 10AM for Festival attendees.

The Cleveland Kurentovanje Parade will begin promptly at Noon.

Following the Parade, the magic continues with musical performances on four different stages. Check back for a band and performance list soon!

Be sure to stick around until the end for the Pokop Pusta, which is our Closing Ceremony event at the festival.

All Parking is first come first served. There are a few parking lots in the area where you can park for free, as well as street parking. Please park at your own risk. Handicapped parking is available. See our Accessibility Section.

In order to make purchases at one of our Bar stations, you’ll need to purchase Kurent Cash Bar Tickets from one of our ticket stations. Food Vendors inside and outside, including food trucks, will not accept Kurent Cash tickets. They are cash or card only. We’ll feature traditional Slovenian food vendors as well as some of your local favorites. Check back soon for a list of Food Vendors servicing our event.

Bring the kiddos! We have plenty of activities ready for them in the Children’s Village, located in the lower level of Slovenian National Home, including Story Time with Teta Maria (Aunt Maria) and a Sing-A-Long with Stric John (Uncle John).

In Vermilion, Winter is not a season, it’s a celebration! We head outdoors and enjoy everything Vermilion has to offer. Celebrating its 17th Anniversary, the event features over 50 ice sculptures created by Elegant Ice Creations, Cleveland’s top ice sculptors.

Visitors and residents alike will enjoy live demonstrations, a kids frozen play space, kids train rides as well as shopping, and dining at our local businesses.

A highlight of the day is when fire and ice combine in a spectacular chimney of ice set a blaze to music and fire dancing performers.

We wind down at the annual Melt Down Party where you will find warmth, raffles and yummy food and drink. Tickets available in advance to attend the Melt Down Party.

Downtown Akron Partnership presents the inaugural Downtown Akron Frost Fest, featuring an afternoon of winter fun, ice sculptures, a hot cocoa crawl, live music, and more throughout the neighborhood. Many of the activities are free to enjoy, while others are paid. More details are coming soon.

Visitors are encouraged to visit businesses across the neighborhood to try free crafts and activities, hear live music by local musicians and enjoy a hot cocoa and cookie crawl.

Activity will be clustered at Lock 3, near Main & Exchange Streets, on Mill and Summit Streets, and in the Northside District.

For this production, we offer four ticketing options: 

1. General Admission

2. Choose-What-You-Pay General Admission (Limited)
Rush, day-of tickets available in person only at the door on a first-come, first-served basis, starting at 6pm (2pm on Sunday). Total of 20 $1 & $10 tickets available per performance.

3. Reserved Seating: $50
Preferred seats in rows close to stage.

4. Tables: $200
Four seats per table. Tables must be purchased as a whole. Includes one bottle of wine at table.

To cut down on high no-show rates, in the event of a sold-out performance, tickets sold at $1 and $10 that are not scanned at least 20 minutes prior to the scheduled performance time will be released for resale. This vibrant performance guides viewers from an invocation of unity to a final reflection on faith. It is more than a celebration of Kwanzaa—it is a powerful reminder of the enduring light within us all, a light that shines brightest when we come together as a community, honoring our heritage and illuminating a future grounded in shared values. The celebration features spoken word, music and dance.

Cleveland Bazaar is bringing back our Last Minute Market! We'll be part of the Third Friday art walk on Friday night then offer you ONE LAST CHANCE to shop local + handmade for holiday on Saturday. You'll find us on the lower Ramp level.

Bazaar got our start here at 78th Street Studios and we consider it our home. Shop with over 50 Bazaar makers as well as an entire building of resident artists whose studios will be open. We'll have food trucks outside and food inside the building to keep you going as you shop.
