"National Night Out" is designed to be a positive event to strengthen the bond between the community and law enforcement. This event is free and open to the public. Berea Police Department will be hosting the event at Coe Lake Park. The event will include the following: Balloon Twister, Face Painters, Inflatable, Music, Obstacle Course, Paddle Boats, and a Touch-a-Truck event. Berea Police will be handing out popsicles at the event. Cuyahoga County Safe Communities/Greater Cleveland Safe Kids will be on hand passing out safety information. Berea Elks will join us with their drug awareness trailer and hand out activity books for children. Touch-a-Truck RETURNS Saturday, August 1, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lorain County Community College!

Kids will have the chance to climb aboard, explore, and learn about the vehicles that help keep our community moving—from fire trucks and police vehicles to heavy equipment and more.
