Spring Break at the Back Nine
The Back Nine in Brunswick is open 365 days per year. If you aren't a member you can still come in for an hour or few and play during the day on our Full Swing sims. Play courses like TPC, St. Andrews, Pebble Beach AND year 1 TGL on spring break with the kids. Bring your own snacks and clubs!
Spring Break Adventure Camp
Send the kids to camp during the school Spring Break!
Grades 3rd - 7th will adventure with their peers at our Base Camp. Together we will engage in traditional camp activities, including hiking, archery, climbing, zip lining, camp cooking, games, and more!

Learn to Play Chess
About This Event
Come hang out, learn some moves, and play some chess! This is a fun, relaxed afternoon for kids of all ages — whether you're just getting started or already know your way around the board. Parents, use your best judgment on whether your little one is ready to join in!
We'll kick things off with a quick intro to the game, then open things up to just play, hang out, and enjoy. For the more experienced players, we'll also have a little tournament with prizes!
What's Happening
Short intro lesson covering the rules and how each piece moves — with illustrated flashcards to help younger and newer players pick it up fast
Open play time to practice with other kids
Mini tournament for older or more experienced players — skill levels will be grouped, with prizes for the winners!
Friendly, welcoming atmosphere — all skill levels welcome
Chess sets provided — or bring your own if you have one!

Cleveland Charge Bluey Meet & Greet
Watch the Cleveland Charge, the NBA G-League affiliate of the Cleveland Cavaliers, take on the Noblesville Boom, on Friday, December 5th! You’ll experience Bluey-themed fun woven throughout the game, including the theme song, Dance Mode moments, and a group game of Keepy Uppy.

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo has been working to protect wildlife around the world for more than two decades. Help us to secure a future for wildlife by running for your selected species in this annual race. You can choose to support Zoo conservation efforts for: Andean Bear, Asian Turtle, Giraffe, Gorilla, Lion or Rhino.
This is the third of four races that make up the Cleveland Metroparks Race Series presented by CrossCountry Mortgage.

Spectator Information
Spectators wanting to come cheer on runners/walkers will need to purchase tickets to enter the zoo.
Zoo membership does not allow you free entry into the zoo.
Ticket prices are $21.50/adult (ages 12-61), $19.50/seniors (62+) and $17.50/junior (ages 2-11)
Spectators must purchase tickets on-line only at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo Website.
Admissions will be there to scan the online ticket once purchased. The box office will not be open.

Donation-Based Outdoor Yoga with Amy Luczak
We’re excited to offer a donation-based Kids Yoga program during August and September! Join Amy Luczak, experienced Kids Yoga Teacher and longtime educator, for free outdoor yoga classes every Sunday morning at 10 AM at Veterans' Park in Avon Lake.
These playful, engaging classes are recommended for ages 5–12 and focus on movement, mindfulness, and fun—helping children build strength, focus, and emotional balance in a relaxed outdoor setting.
